[ARC5] Comparing Duckduck and Google

I found a PL-109 connector here and thinking I would never need it, I thought I'd offer it
up here free. But first I looked it up in my connectors list manual. It said, SCR-242-A. Then
I looked up "SCR-242-A radio set" on duckduckgo. A friend had recommended this search
engine as it doesn't track you, the way Google tracks your every move, even thought.
Well, duck returned about 5 responses, none of them useful, the first was a webpage whose
ownership had expired and the page was now for sale. So I used Google next. Radionerds
was down at the fifth response and was exactly what I needed to tell me that SCR-242-A
equals BC-310-A navigation LF receiver. ( Thank you INDEED, Radionerds. ) I do have the
BC-310-B receiver, which doesn't use this particular connector, but uses similar indicator units,
so I'll keep the connector after all, in case who knows, maybe I find an indicator or junction
box which belongs to either unit and can be adapted to my set. And I'll tag it too, so if I never
find a use for it before I have to check out, the next owner won't have to wonder what it is.
Anyway, an instructive little experiment in comparing these two search engines.

Some of the recipients of this note won't have any idea what an SCR or BC is. That's okay,
you'll get the overall message I learned from this experiment.
