[ARC5] R-25

This radio is not an R-25 / ARC-5. It is a BC-453 with a badly repainted,
incorrect ARC-5 top cover. I agree that it is not worth more than about $20
and then you have to figure the shipping. No cigar. Makes me think the
seller has not yet been weaned from his father's apron strings.

I always wonder about those high figure buy it now prices.
It will only bring what it's worth to others, and if seller doesn't have any
idea, the way to discovery
is auction.
I note, no bottom plate, no tube cover, mismatched adapter plugin. About $20
- 30, I reckon.
It says, "Make me an offer", but if you make a rational offer, I think
you'll receive incredulous outrage.
I do not want an R-25, but I might watch this out of curiosity, just to see
how the price changes in the
relist, and if light eventually dawns.
It does seem to me these days that collectibles prices are generally down.
Many sellers don't want to
realize that.
