Might I suggest looking at Barry Mount folks info.  They probably make them and the drawings are available.  In not Barry, then LORD.

Funny you should ask.  I had started writing a little bit about the ARC shock units back before Christmas and had taken apart a couple of the units to see what made them tick.  They are certainly more complicated than they appear.  Those 2Z**** numbers are Signal Corps stock numbers, better known by the ARC/WECO numbers 5195 and 7068.
