[ARC5] Harvey-Wells AR-3a

Hello all.  Not exactly ARC-5, but distantly related.  Looking for copy 
of schematic diagram or manual for Harvey-Wells AR-3A BC/LF aircraft 
receiver. No luck with BAMA, Manual Man, etc. Help anyone?

The AR-3A has Loctal battery tubes rather than the Loctal 6.3-Volt tubes 
of the Harvey Wells ATR-3.  I have examined the schematic for the ATR-3 
(available at radiomuseum.org).  However, I am specifically interested 
in how certain things are done with the 1.4-Volt battery tubes.  For 
example, the ATR-3 has a parallel LC circuit in the cathode return of 
its audio preamp for beacon tone filtering, and uses variable cathode 
bias on certain tubes for sensitivity/volume control.  You can't do 
those things those ways with battery tubes.  I hope someone can come up 
with a schematic or something.
