Seems very unlikely to me that the planes were buried. This is Germany, not the South Pacific.
The metals would be recycled. You don't see massive landfills in Germany. Metal recyclers for
years after WWII harvested the many wrecks lying about.

As for German agents sent to USA to learn native languages, you yourself can reason how
improbable this would be. With a handful of people with scanty knowledge of one native
language out of several, that's going to help the German war effort at the tactical level ?
