The technology is DDS using 14 bit resistive divider technology. Note the accuracy is 20ppm.

The software on the CD rom that came with the unit did not work so I contacted support and they send a link to the correct GUI software as well as a list of ASCII command set. 

Note the accuracy is 20ppm.
