[ARC5] Amazon Sig Gen as Crystal Subber

Re: Using the DDS generator to sub for crystals in the "ARC-5" VHF receiver.
Did a more complete look at this issue with the service monitor and scope.
At least with the ARC-5 VHF receiver, a CMOS square-wave output, 
swinging from 0 to 5V, coupled through a DC-blocking .02 uFd cap, drives 
the stage just fine.  Sine wave output will not work.
Drive voltage above 4 to 5 V peak does not improve performance.
