I asked W5JO in Oklahoma about 160M AM frequencies. His reply
"Mark,
There isn’t that much AM activity on 160 meters down here. I have tried
several times to stir the pot without success.
I get on occasionally and talk to Don, KYV but I rarely hear anyone in the
Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas area and I don’t know why. There are
several guys who operate SSB but that is it."
