[ARC5] Single strand 22 g insulated wire

 cat 5 or 6  cable or old telephone trunk cables ( I think there were at least 25 pair in those)

 I don’t remember what gauge it is, but I have used control wire bundle used for sprinkler systems. It is four or five color coded wires in a bundle. It is a single solid strand. It is available at Lowe’s or Home Depot by the foot.

I have a couple of Command sets that havebeen severely hamaged. I would like to rewire them. I prefer the single-strand,22 g, late ‘40s PVC insulated variety, although really I would prefermore modern wire where the PVC will not ‘melt’ all over the place.
 
  
 
Where can I find such wire? The only wire Ican find on eBay is multi-strand, or florist wire that is coloured but hardlyinsulated.
