[ARC5] Single strand 22 g insulated wire

Hello folks,

 

I have a couple of Command sets that have been severely hamaged. I would
like to rewire them. I prefer the single-strand, 22 g, late '40s PVC
insulated variety, although really I would prefer more modern wire where the
PVC will not 'melt' all over the place.

 

Where can I find such wire? The only wire I can find on eBay is
multi-strand, or florist wire that is coloured but hardly insulated.
