Yes. Here's the working rule: plastic radio jams metal radio, metal radio cannot jam plastic radio?
I recall years ago, I was listening to the osc. from a noisy neighbor's radio, and I could actually hear the radio's audio on the oscillator too.

Do you mean you could pick up the actual IF frequency, not the receiver oscillator? If so - now, that is interesting !

Turn on the car radio on AM, middle of the band.  Take a portable AM radio and hold it next to the antenna and tune around.  You'll find a spot where the portable radio LO jams the car radio reception.  It can be a useful troubleshooting aid.

My ARC R-11A could pick up the 455 KHZ IF of my GE P-991A multiband World Monitor anywhere in my apartment.
