Hi,

I used to have mostlyu CFL bulbs with no noise problems. After a number
of years I switched to LEDs. I have done the search with the portable
radios and they are silent until i get about two inches from the bulb
with the loop antenna. At that point it also depends which way I turn
the loop. I am able to null out the feeble noise.

Like Ken, I do not have a clue about the differences in our experiences
and the noise reported here.
