[ARC5] GO-9 Project: Why the Resistor?

I will have to add this to my list, to look at the schematics for the AT-12, ATR-11, and TBX-4, all of which use a similar level power tube as the oscillator.
The 'Command Sets' use something similar on the OSC tube, don't they? Vaguely recallng…

Sure, the bigger the cathode, the more “C” there’s going to be. Also in a high
power tube the design probably is optimized for things other than the capacitance
changing by a couple of pf.
