Correction - DM-34 is 12V. DM-36 is 24V. But they are electrically the
equivalent of the DM-24 and DM-28. And their B- brush holder is insulated
from the frame (ground).

You will find that DM-28 dynamotor packs are very hard to find and expensive
if you do, but the WWII tank radio DM-34 dynamotor is more available,
usually much lower in cost, are of similar size and have the same input and
output voltages. You will have a build a base for it along with the
appropriate filter coils, a project I have had in work for some years.

The DM-36 dynamotor is similar but with a 12VDC input.

Good luck!
