BTW, all tube sockets pins #1 are connected together, and so on. You can make an adapter if you have a loctal socket & an octal plug. (Similarly, other pinouts can be made up.) If you don't have a loctal socket but some kind of pin jacks or such you could cobble up something to connect to the tube pins & plug into the octal test socket. It's important to keep leads short, I think.

Hi, I’m trying to get my R-13B (108-135 MHz) receiver operational and testing tubes. My Hickok 6000A tester has the settings but I don’t have an octal adapter. My friend has a Hickok 752A tester with an octal socket but his roller strip doesn’t have settings for. 14A7, 14F7, and 14R7 octal tubes.
Does anyone have the appropriate settings for the 752A? Thanks.
