[ARC5] Removing set screws

   I haven’t given up on loosing the set screw on the audio control knob but I’ve maybe found a different solution. The reason for removing the knob is so I can replace the on/off switch on the volume control which was always open. Well I drilled a small hole in the side of the switch and squirted deoxit into the switch and exercised the switch a dozen or more times. The switch now reads 1.7 ohms closed. The new switch reads 1.1 ohms closed.
   Is that a good solution?
   I will continue to try removing the set screw via heating and impact but no drilling just to satisfy myself.
