Here's the courteous way to cite an ebay item:

  https://www.ebay.com/itm/273766504568

It is also courtous to describe the item in the message subject line or text. I've never understood the cute trick of omitting such information in the posting. It must be so folks will waste time to see something they would not want.

The auction item is a USAF 1958-order A.R.C.Type 12 R-22 receiver. Contrary to info in the auction, its frequency range is 0.54 to 1.6 MHz. (The range of the earlier CBY-46103, CBY-46145, BC-946-B, R-24/ARC-5, and R-10A receivers is 0.52 to 1.50 MHz.) Like the R-10A, the R-22 lacks a BFO.

The control panel for the A.R.C. R-22 is the A.R.C. C-57. That was on auction six months ago for about $40.

The R-22 with D-10A in this auction is attractive and somewhat scarce, but I'm surprised it sold for $300. My R-22 is 18 numbers below the auction unit.
