The manual that covers the VHF ARC-5 equipment is an amazingly detailed and
comprehensive 225 page document for the T23/ARC-5 transmitter and R28/ARC-5
receiver. There is what must be a mistake in the transmitter schematic,
Fig. 60.
As drawn, it shows the armature of the turret-rotating motor connected at
all times to the 28V heater rail. The armature wire has been continued too
far left to join the upper moving contact of K-304 instead of dropping down
to join the lower moving contact, to which the commutator is connected.
