I rewired the primary stator windings on a 21VDC input (?!?! No, I do not know why they used that odd voltage) in hopes of getting a dynamotor capable of producing 170VDC with a 12VDC input and enough current to run a BC-652-A.
Basically the mod did reduce the dynamotor high voltage output and presumably increased the current capability, but by only a small amount. There might have been a 25% improvement in those areas at best. Load testing showed the dynamotor could not provide the full rated voltage and current for the standard 12V or 24V dynamotor used with a BC-652-A
