Glad you enjoyed it!  In fact, I think I’ll make a batch tomorrow.  I
mildly boil them in Samuel Adams Boston Lager and sliced onions until they
swell up with absorption (after all, if they have to die, they should die
happy, right)?  Then I put them on the barbe till they have a nice set of
burn-stripes and pour another Sam Adams.   Anyone game?  I live in SE NM.
