[ARC5] Command Receiver Racks

I assume that everyone knows that ARN-30 racks are essentially identical to WWII Command Receiver racks with two positions. One of the positions is for the converter and thus has two receiver type connectors. I can see no reason why one connector can't be removed, the other located in the correct spot using a sheet of aluminum, and the rack rewired for two receivers, yielding a spare male connector as well.

I bought an ARN-30 rack on ebay for $20 a few years ago. Gordon wanted it for his VOR set project and I sent it to him. After that, I was given two ARN-30 receivers equipped with dynaverters along with a converter by someone who knew I liked old radio stuff. I eagerly asked about the racks and was told they had no idea anyone would want that stuff and if they had ever had it they threw it away. We searched their dumpster, anyway - and found several perfectly good Nomex flight suits.
