[ARC5] WWII Navy Pilots info

     It would be interesting to track down pilots from other 
services. The training films on You-Tube indicate that Navy 
practice was to have the flight crew prep the plane and start the 
engine before the pilot went aboard but in other services the 
pilot checked out the plane and started the engine (or engines). 
So, its possible that radio procedure might also have been 
different.
    Getting the stories first hand needs to be done NOW, it soon 
will not be possible. You got some history from those who 
actually were there and did it.
