I've found what I need for now.

I also saw I am really missing a lot of parts on the O-101 or O-102 ( not
sure yet what I have ).

That will be a hunt next year.

Also the dynamotor supports are missing on both units and they are not the
same as the HF receivers.

 

Maybe at the Hamvention or at Fair Radio when I visit them in May.

 

The reprint would be nice but when I am the only one it will be a lot of
work and therefore maybe too expensive but thanks for the offer Robert.

Hans,

 

The original manual for AN/ARC-5 was AN 08-10-195 Volume 1 (LF/MF/HF) and AN
08-10-195 Volume 2 (VHF).  Right after the War, Volume 2 was discontinued
and Volume 1 was renumbered and revised twice and I have for many years sold
a reprint of it.  I have the original Volume 2 scanned but no one ever asked
for it and I never finished the clean up so that I could reprint it.  It
will probably take a few weeks but I could complete and reprint it.  I do
not have a price yet.

I am working on a ARC 5 VHF set with the R28 receiver and T23 transmitter.

 

As usual I have modified units ( 2 receivers and 2 transmitters ) with parts
missing or altered circuits.

The R28 I want to get working has the frequency setting part in front but
the crystal holders, relays and switching motor drive are missing.

 

I have found the Surplus conversion articles but what I really would like to
have is the documentation in the form as is available for most of the other
ARC-5 parts.

 

If that is also available for the T23 I sure like that too.
