 It's a badly kept secret that there are armed satellites orbiting for the purpose of taking out critical orbiting military assets. They're not hard to "get at" if the killer satellite(s) are in a near orbit 20KM out! 

The French were convinced that the Germans couldn't cross the Marginot line , too, etc, etc.****place your example of an arrogant military  blunder here****We never learn, do we?
