[ARC5] Difference between the C-24/ARC-5 and MX-19/ARC-5

C-24 is the front panel local control adapter.  It has two knobs, one for the sensitivity (gain) pot and the other for the 3-position CW-OFF-MCW switch.

 

MX-19 has a 3-pin connector on the front and a relay inside.  It is for connecting the output audio (90/150 CPS) to a blind landing system when the relay is energized.  If you have seen a local control unit with MX-19 engraved on the rear cover, someone swapped the cover.

 

See Figure 24 Sheet 1 of 2 in AN 16-30ARC5-2, any revision.
