Why don’t you try Greyhound?  Their prices are still reasonable for radio-size and weight freight. 

 

I used Greyhound Freight to ship TWO MITE teletypes (in one box!).  At some 60 pounds each (?) I would have had to pay a lot of $ any other way.

 

A MITE teletype is about as dense a radio in pounds per cubic foot as I have ever dealt with.

 

I did get an RBB and RBC and two power supplies at Dayton the (one) year I went, on prior arrangement from North Carolina.
