Dennis, You can use a BC-451* in an AN/ARC-5 setup, but it requires re-wiring. I don't have the details at hand but I have a three TX AN/ARC-5 setup with a BC-451* control box built by Dave Ross N6EPI (I think) SK. And it works. anyone out there in ARC5 LAND that Service or Repair the Command Set i just got one set up just need someone to check this out no one here in 9 Land that works on them any more that i know of thanks for any help also looking for the C-29/ARC-5 Control Box for my MD-7/ARC-5 or will the BC-451A (CB) work with the MD-7/ARC-5
