On the first Saturday in November, there is a Mennonite Relief Sale and Auction at Enid, OK. They always have an ice cream maker powered by a one lunger gas engine and it's neat to listen to the spits and pops it makes. The ice cream is pretty darned good, also!

I have a 1.5 HP Hercules hit & miss engine with it's original cart. My buddies and I like to drink a cold beer while setting and watching and listening to it run. It's a guy thing. All of the ladies think we are crazy.

Yes. I agree. And furthermore, the OT weren't dunces: just because it's OLD tech, does
NOT mean it is BAD tech.
The modern attitude towards old tech tends to piss me off at times.
