Back in the mid 60s, the CAP shack had a BC-640 sitting next to the 
BC-669 we used for the weekly
HF net. I never saw it fired up. We did use the BC-639 as a monitor 
receiver at times.

Even though it would be a hugely monstrous PITA to deal with, I've 
always wanted to have a BC-640.
I already have a BC-639, RA-42 and BC-638 and some of the "glue" pieces 
to marry
it all. But at this stage in life, it would have to be very cheap and 
very close.
