[ARC5] Single Transmitter Single Receiver 274-N in P-51-C

   The article appears in the May, 2018 issue of the EAA "Sport 
Aviation", p. 55. It is a P-51-C restored and painted  to resemble 
"Lope's Hope," flown in the CBI Theatre by the late Don Lopez.  I knew 
Don when he was deputy director of the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum

     On p. 60 is a photo of the SCR-274N installation. Both the 
transmitter and receiver are unpainted aluminum but the photo is too 
small for me to read the numbers on the dials. According to the piece 
they found an Army Air Corps order specifying the SCR-274N installation. 
They cite John Castorina of Warbirds Radio as the consultant on the 
radio gear. And there is an MN-26 radio compass installed too.
