Interesting but you could run an LM317 or such from 12v for heaters, less to go wrong, and the ht only ones are about a third the cost. LM317 and a couple of bit? what £1 to £2.

inputs 12V and can source a regulated from 1.25V
to 12V at 3A for filaments and regulated 150V to
420V at up to 60mA for B+. Gonna get me one of
