[ARC5] Batteries That Do Not Corrode?

I will also admit that Duracell batteries seemed to corrode worst of all. I assumed it was the result of an attempt to pack more power into them.
I think that the alkalines seem to be mroe prone to corrode than the old carbon zinc and the corrosion seems to be more serious as well.
Radio Shack (online) had a sale on batteries a few months back. It was something like $9 for 36 batteries and I ordered a package of AA and one of AAA, with free shipping. They are orange and white and I just opened the packages the other day. All I can say right now is that they work, but it's too early to say if they corrode.
