[ARC5] eBay Item - What Is It?

     FWIW, on the photo showing the test switch one can barely 
make out what looks like an MFP stamp, Oct 9 1951  That suggests 
it was military or at least used by the military.
     I've looked at several old General Radio catalogs but could 
not find anything exactly like it.
