Well, about music:
I like early music, which in my case is stuff written between about 1350
(Gullaume de Machaut, Johannes Ciconia, Guillaume Du Fay, and so forth)
and 1775, and the latter part only because of J. S. Bach; otherwise, I
would stop 100 years sooner.
I also like the occasional later piece: some string quartets, and
Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings, for instance.
