The reduced B+ may be a good idea, but these radios are running on the original dynamotors.
On that theme, I was considering building fet and mosfet substitute solid state replacements into octal sockets for plug-in replacements.
Then I run the B+ on 24V.
The only problem will be getting audio power out of the audio output section.
One rube-goldberg setup might be using a standard audio power IC and a matching transformer to match the original plate impedance.
A less bulky idea might be to have a local voltage boost for the 12A6 tube only, which will supply 100v or so to a push pull power amp.
Fortunately the 24V can be picked off of the 12a6 heater pin.
Any other ideas?

I’ve recently acquired some of these teeny Class D audio amps, similar to these:

About the size of a postage stamp, but have not yet started to experiment with them.
Search “class d audio” for many options.
Anyone else?
