I don't know about other eMail programs, but HoTMaiL provides an option to report such incidents as phishing scams.  You can also report that your "friend's" email has been hacked and you should inform the friend at their REAL addresses of that fact and that they need to change their email log-in passwords.

That sort of crap happens all the time, Les. ALWAYS check the address of the sender. I get
those, supposedly, from my sons and daughter too. Ignore the dirty bastards.
