One of the most innovative ways I’ve seen to wrestle and tame a DC to DC converter to act nice. 

 A byproduct of Dave’s narrative is that one gets the sense he is having a whale of a lot of fun in the process.  Reminds me of ham radio construction projects some of us old guys built in the 1950’s and ‘60s...  (except of course using modern day thingee’s...). Congrats, Dave.  Well done!

BTW Dave  previously told me about Shoe Glue and IIRC I bought a tube at Walmart or Lowe’s.  Good stuff.
