Mine too.

That tuning knob with the two "extra" threaded holes in the edge, and the model number 
MC-237A MAY be a modified version of that somewhat rare job which had a scale attached 
for, apparently fine adjustment.

I never could see what good that would be since those knobs exhibit so much back-lash that 
a scale would be almost useless.
