[ARC5] VHF TX&RX

Hello Dennis,

 

The T-23 / ARC-5 needs an ARC-5 Tx rack. The R-28 can fit into any ARA / ATA, ARC-5 or SCR-274N Rx rack.

Then, to get on air you need the:

·         Relevant crystals for the frequencies you plan to use

·         MD-7 / ARC-5 modulator

·         User interface items such as microphone and headset

·         Shock-mounts for the racks and modulator

·         Remote controllers for the Tx and Rx – they are not the same

·         Antenna connectors – usually PL-259

·         Connectors and cables between the various items and the DC source

·         ARC-5 VHF Manual for connecting up, tuning, operating and maintenance.

Without these items, you have two lovely WWII doorstops.

It also helps to use proper punctuation in your sentences.

i pick up the VHF T-23 & R-28 both in good condition the R-28 has the Dynamotor  type of connector do i need

for the 23&28 to get them on the air can i use the MT Type racks for the TX&RX   any other items i would need who the best guy that knows them the best  any type of help Dennis
