[ARC5] AN/ARC-2A Available Soon- Dallas Area

Well, there is an article coming out soon in ER which addresses the 
issue of selectivity in the ARC-2( ).  I have it on the air, 40 watts 
out with 100% modulation and quite selective with an adjunct.  I use a 
Heath HP-23 supply and 28v @ 7 amps.  I wish I was in a position to 
sweep your unit up!! But, they are as heavy as sin as all note..  As far 
a usage, not the R-4D(Navy C-47) as I understand but several medium 
class aircraft a couple of helicopters.  Not as prolific as a lot of 
other gear.  They were a bridge from the ARC-5 over to the truly 
multi-channel rigs like the ARC-38 and 65, etc., hence they were not out 
there for too awful long by comparison.
