[ARC5] Help Identify This Shock Mount

That was my initial thought, too, Jack.  But both of those (and similar 
variants like the AYD and ARN-1) use a pair of snap slides to fasten the 
radio to the shock, and this example uses more familiar knurled 
thumbscrews.  It looks to me more like it's for the ASB-* series radar 
transmitter.  See photo below:
