I use mine to monitor the aircraft bands. It’s sensitive and works great in that service. The lack of a frequency dial makes tuning it interesting.  It tunes backwards I believe, the low end of the band fully clockwise, the high end fully CCW.  Haven’t worked out where to hook a frequency counter yet

Glenn,

I sent the R-19 schematic directly in JPG and PDF formats.  Let me know if they come through OK and do you need the wiring diagram, too?  Buying the complete Type 12 manual might be a good idea.  The one I use is the ARC factory book ARCIB-12-3, dated January 1955, revised November 1956.

I'm pretty sure the connectors are available on eBay from Steve
Williams, KB4DMF. The only one you may actually need is the one
on the rear of the set where it plugs into the mounting rack.

The R-19 has all external connections made on the front panel. There is no connector on the rear. There is no mounting rack that makes electrical connections, just the M-12A mounting tray.
