Hi
You and Richard are making me feel bad now. It must have taken me a minute and a half and a couple of more steps to email the URL. My excuse is unfamiliarity with the newfangled touch screen.

I have my HoTMaiL page and eBay page open simultaneously.  If an auction number comes up in which I have interest (or curiosity) I simply highlight the auction number, right click on it, save it, reactivate the eBay page, paste it in the search area and voila, item comes up.  Takes maybe 10 seconds for the whole process!
Sheesh!

I open the link to the auction description, eBay has made it maddeningly hard to find the item # WHICH IS NOT CLICKABLE. How does one take a piece of text and convert it? Perhaps an apology is due?

On the other hand, it is much more secure and safe to not click on an email link.

Then another 3 clicks and an Enter to see the item. Thirteen operations in all.

Well, gee, I knew that, but why should I do 3 clicks to copy the number, another click to open a new window,a backspace series to clear the url, 3 clicks to paste, then an Enter to go there.
Nine operations when a simple clickable link by the poster would have done it in one.

It is easy enough to find: copy the item number as given, go to eBay and paste it into the
eBay search box, and hit enter. Voila!

What it is, is a magazine, "QRV on Longwave" in German. The main article or articles
describes a home-brew (selbstgebaut = self made) transmitter (sender), receiver,
(Empfanger), and antennas (antennen) for the 2200 meter band.

Should be very interesting even if you don't know German.
