[ARC5] BC-453-B Dial accuracy

Hi,
   I have a BC-453-B which I restored and use to listen to Non Directional Beacons.  The Dial reading on my unit reads about 8 to 10 kc high.  I would like it to read closer.   I've tried adjusting the coil closest to the tuning knob (C-9) 1/4 and 1/2 turns both CW and CCW and the dial reading is unchanged.  Is that coil the correct coil to adjust?  Which one is? What is the function of each of the three coils? Thanks in advance for any help.  I'll report results.
