[ARC5] SCR274 AM modulation question

So true.case in point:
I was thinking about starting with a electret, zener , cap and resistor... part count =4The author got fancy with the frequency response , etc. I don't think the fidelity of that modulator would be all that good anyway. I'm just looking to get some decent amplitude.I'll try my cheesy circuit, if the results are poor, I'll build the pre-amp.
The electrets have a pretty high output , so other than equalization, additional circuitry may not be necessary ?stay tuned...

Alas; this circuit violates
The Law of Pernicious Parts Count,
which states:

"In any home-brew circuit, every part added
beyond 10 will divide the number who actually
build the circuit by half."

Sad but very true.
There is an exception:  If one has a pre-made
P.C. board for the project, the law does not apply.
