I would.

Be aware that DeOxit doesn't work well in any environment which includes high levels of 
RF....like in an amplifier compartment.

DC environments, or very low-level RF environments, are just fine.

Also, use as little as possible. For your purposes, I would use a "Q-tip" to apply the bare 
minimum. In the case of bandswitches, I use a toothpick to apply the stuff.
