[ARC5] Attempting " resurrection" of a hacked BC-696.

So, I am going to try to "impress" some of the young whipper-snappers at our FD action this
year, if I have time, by appearing with a working "ARC-5" setup, receiver and transmitter,
both runniing on 12 V dynamotors.

What I found in my stash of hacked up transmitters is what used to be a BC-696, 3 - 4 Mc
transmitter. The following are missing:

1) Antenna connector

2) Both relays,

3) Loading coil and its window (the frame is still there).

4) Final tank coil. Although there is one lying loose in the cabinet, I'm not sure it is correct for
3 - 4 Mc, but it has the remains of the numbers 724 on the top edge.

5) Added phone jack on the front panel

6) Added 5 pin tube socket on the rear.

7) Three tubes in the rear: A) a 6AG7 where the 1626 was, B) a 6J5 in the center, and C) a
12A6 on the left (viewed from the front).

8) Both 1625s are still installed.

9) Written on the rear in pencil, "12 VAC filaments"

10) Hole in the rear left side labled "HV".

The circuit has been modified, but "tastefully" done with proper soldering and component
sizes and placement.

So, my questions:

1) What is the correct part number for the correct 3 - 4 Mc tank coil?

2) Is anyone familiar with a common mod which would have used a 6AG7 as the oscilllator, a
6J5 as (possibly) a buffer, and a 12A6 as the driver for the finals?

Anyone?
