Heh heh!!! Such memories.  I still have  a copy of the first DD-250 signed for the WSR-88D NEXRAD weather radar systems.   Such are the machinations of an L4 COTR.Jeep K3HVG

GFE/GFAE is equipment purchased by government contract and then
delivered either directly to the government or to another contractor for
installation into an end item. The PV1/PV2 stamps were most likely to
help segregate same p/n GFE when delivered to Lockheed, as they were
working multiple lines and contracts within the same facility at the
time. Record keeping and GFE/GFAE segregation gets complicated when you
build end items that are essentially identical, but for different
contracting agencies and are not working under a single procurement
organization. We currently build similar aircraft for multiple
governments, but thru a single procurement organization, with them
having total responsibility for all acceptance and DD-250 approval.
