Well on those occasions when you do wish to send a clickable link to an 
eBay item, here's the easiest way to do it.

Typically eBay URLs look something like: 
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FT-260-A-SCR-274-N-Local-Control-Adapter-Panel-Military-Aircraft-Radio-Receiver-/382160016863?hash=item58fa8315df:g:eDwAAOSwu2VZZBTd

Simply paste it in, then delete everything to the right of the "?" ,  
shortening it to:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FT-260-A-SCR-274-N-Local-Control-Adapter-Panel-Military-Aircraft-Radio-Receiver-/382160016863

Works for completed or active auctions.  BTW the seller in question is 
my buddy John KB0UPL from Dubuque. If you've been to a hamfest in the 
Iowa-Illinois-Wisc. area you've probably seen his stuff for sale.  A 
good guy.
