Sounds good.

Well, this western area FEMA has been MOST active. They have an interoperability event
once a month, and there is also what is called the "five dot three" net once or twice a week
on 60 meters too. Both events use both voice and digital. I find them to be very interesting,
despite the fact that my present 60 meter antenna is a SEVERE compromise. Even so, it
works.

The "five dot three" net is headquartered out of the "Tsunami Belt" on the west coast. Those
people have become very concerned about that for several reasons, all worthwhile.

Here is some information on that net

There is at least one fair sized town in Oregon which is so situated that there will be NO
survivors if a significant Tsunami hits. It is really fearful.

Ha ha! :-)

Well, I am 75, and since Christmas of last year, have been hit with some new health issue
about every 3 to 4 weeks since then. Today, I woke up with some sort of ache-all-over virus
which, of course, makes my RA pains about 10 times worse. Oh, well. It will subside.
Anyway, none of us gets out of this world alive.

Later, BIll. Take care,
